ArenaNet visited San Francisco, California over the weekend to attend TwitchCon 2015, and we had some exciting content to share!

Final Beta Weekend Event

Game Director Colin Johanson announced that the third and final Beta Weekend Event will begin on October 2. Players who have prepurchased Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns™ will have access to the event. Every elite specialization will be available for testing, and players will have the chance to try out the initial encounter of our first raid!

Introducing Guild Chat!

During our ArenaNet Television program we premiered two new shows: Guild Chat, hosted by Rubi Bayer; and Community Showcase Live, co-hosted by Gaile Gray and Elizabeth Stewart.

We also aired original programming, including Taste of Tyria hosted by voice actress Jennifer Hale, trivia and community clip shows hosted by Dan Casey of The Nerdist, and a live musical performance featuring Guild Wars 2 composer Maclaine Diemer. Balance Changes

Balance changes are coming to Guild Wars 2 today! Irenio Calmon-Huang gave an overview of the changes live on stream.
