Hearthstone - Heroes of Warcraft news » Prove Your Skills in the Hearthstone Nationals
Have you got the talent to take over the Tavern? We’re calling on competitors from seven European countries to prove that they’re among their homeland’s best players in the Hearthstone Nationals this summer.
Register now
Whether you’re a seasoned professional or a casual card-slinger, this is your opportunity to show the world what you’ve got. The inaugural edition of the Hearthstone Nationals is open to players from France, Germany, Italy, Poland, Russia, Spain, and the United Kingdom, so ready your decks and register now for the chance to earn a place in the tournament.
Qualify with HC points
Once you’ve registered, you’ll need to get to work earning all-important HC points. From the start of April to the end of May, the 64 registered players from each eligible country who earn the most HC points will qualify for their nation’s tournament. These points can be earned by placing highly on the Ranked Play ladder during the qualification period, and by competing at HCT Tour Stops and the Summer Playoffs.
Compete
The 64 qualifiers from each nation will compete in online finals taking place on June 23 and 24. The first day will feature a Swiss format stage, with the top eight players advancing to a single-elimination bracket on day two. In addition to recognition as the top player in their country, the winner will earn the lion’s share of a $5,000 USD prize pool.
