Hearthstone - Heroes of Warcraft news » Celebrate a Weekend of Hearthstone at the Spring Preliminary
Innkeepers from across Europe and as far as South Africa have heard the call for more Hearthstone! From May 13-15, we’ll be celebrating a weekend of card-slinging, and you can get involved in the fun at a number of new locations.
The action begins on Friday, May 13, as players battle it out in the Spring Season Tavern Heroes Tournament. The top 32 finishers will then join 128 of Europe’s best-ranked Hearthstone players in the Spring Preliminary on May 14 and 15.
All of the below-listed venues will be open to the public, so come along and watch the action unfold, have a duel or two with other fans, and enjoy some of the side events lined up for attendees. Many venues are still hosting Tavern Heroes Qualifiers, so you can try to earn a place at the Tavern Hero Tournament on May 13—check out our Fireside Gatherings page to find one near you.

Additional Events and Rewards for Attendees
In addition to showing and hosting the Tavern Hero Tournament and Spring Preliminary from May 13–15, the venues listed above will also be holding various side events for attendees. That means loot and prizes will be available, so be sure to join us in person if you can!
If you visit any of the above-listed locations during the event, you’ll also be able to add the Power Core card back to your Hearthstone collection*. Additionally, all participants in the Tavern Hero Tournament and Spring Preliminary will receive this unique esports card back.
Livestream Details
Unable to attend in person? No problem! The event will be livestreamed on the official Hearthstone Twitch channel in English. Streams will also be available in several other languages—we’ll update you with additional details as we approach the event.
Saturday, May 14 – Spring Preliminary Day 1 – 14:00 CEST
Sunday, May 15 – Spring Preliminary Day 2 – 14:00 CEST
*In order to receive the Power Core card back attendees must simply participate in one of the side events at their location – winning in a side event is not required.
