Heroes of the Storm news » Heroes Summer Regional at DreamHack Tours
There’s plenty to play for at DreamHack Tours this Friday and Saturday. On May 13 and 14, eight teams will battle it out in France knowing that victory could earn them a place at one of the year’s major global Heroes of the Storm events.
DreamHack Tours hosts the second Heroes Summer Regional, three weeks on from the first Summer Regional in Leicester, UK. Competing teams will battle it out for their slice of a $100,000 USD prize pool, as well as a spot at the Summer Global Championship, taking place at DreamHack Summer in Sweden later this year.
TEAMS
Some of Europe’s top teams are bringing the heat, so it’s anyone’s guess who’ll emerge victorious. Fresh off their victory in Leicester, Team Dignitas is sure to be among the favorites. However, mYinsanity faced off against them in the finals of the last two Regional events, so we’ll see if the third time’s a charm! Heading in a new direction is teh89, who qualified for DreamHack Tours while playing under the Na’Vi banner, but will now compete at the event under a different name. Fnatic and Team Liquid fell at the semi-final stages in the last Summer Regional, so they’ll be hoping to build on their performances this time around. Put it in the Chips, Evil Murkies, and Never Lucky make up the rest of the group—DreamHack Tours will be the first Regional tournament for each of them, but there’s no underestimating these fearless brawlers.
