The Heroes of the Storm Summer Global Championship will feature 12 top teams from around the world battling it out for $500,000 USD. The tournament will be held at DreamHack Summer, where thousands of attendees will watch the action unfold.
We’ve got lots of loot to give away, and whether or not you’re visiting the event in person, everyone will have a chance to cheer for their favorite team and win! Read on for details.
Cheer and Win
Whoever you’re rooting for, make some noise and let them know that they’ve got your support! We’ll be raffling off Hero and Skin codes throughout the live show, and everyone in the audience will have a chance to win. We’re also looking forward to seeing the loudest and most passionate fans in attendance.
If you’re tuning in to watch our online stream, make sure you’ve logged in to your Twitch account. Viewers will be picked at random to receive Heroes game codes at regular intervals throughout the show—for more details, see the rules here. And if you link your Twitch account to your Battle.net account, you’ll also receive a special in-game portrait.

Format, Date, and Time
The Heroes of the Storm Summer Global Championship will host two group stages, with the top four seeded teams earning immediate passage to the second stage. The other eight qualifying teams will compete in the first stage of the tournament. You can watch all the matches on our Twitch channel (Blizzheroes).
First Group Stage:
- Monday, June 13 from 11:15 to 20:30 CEST
- Tuesday, June 14 from 13:30 to 20:30 CEST
- Wednesday, June 15 from 13:30 to 20:30 CEST
Double elimination groups. All matches are Bo3, the top two from each group advance to Group Stage 2.
Second Group Stage:
- Saturday, June 18 from 11:15 to 23:00 CEST
- Sunday, June 19 from 11:15 to 23:00 CEST
Double elimination groups. All matches are Bo3, the top two from each group advance to Semi-Finals.
Semi-Finals and Grand Finals:
- Monday, June 20 from 12:15 to 22:00 CEST
Single elimination. Semi-finals and Grand Final are Bo5.
