We haven’t yet achieved the level of stability we demand of a full-fledged Clash experience, but we’re encouraged that the vast majority of players were able to complete their Clash games without any trouble and we learned a great deal from navigating this test. For any players that were affected by technical disruptions – whether participating in the Clash test or simply playing during that time window – we apologise.
We’ve seen some positive feedback from people who were able to complete their games, however we realise their excitement only pours salt in the wound of players who had a terrible experience due to technical problems.
There is a huge amount of work happening behind the scenes following this test – primarily around the further expansion of server capacity and creative load-balancing techniques – to address the issues caused by the start of the Clash tournament. Thank you for hanging with us as we get the performance of this product up to the quality level you deserve.
Every player on EUW and EUNE who participated in last weekend’s test helped us get one step closer to that goal. We consider you part of the team helping make Clash a reality and it will be worth the effort, we promise.
