Minecraft news » Community Creations: Minecraft Hololens, in Minecraft

It's nothing new to see players create various real-world contraptions in Minecraft - up to and including working computers - but this particular creation by Spork and Kim (MineDaft) gets a little more meta than usual, by recreating the HoloLens device for Minecraft, inside Minecraft. Using a crazy mix of command blocks and armor stands, this customized iron helmet lets players see the game from inside the game on a surface of blocks. Pretty crazy!

Their creation uses a considerable amount of command blocks and redstone, and is currently unavailable for testing. The duo hope to improve the system to be less system-intensive (at the moment, it lags like crazy!), and release it at a later date. Still, the current version looks promising, and I hope to see more of it in the future!
