Features are present, though few are currently known. They will be posted as they are discovered! Alright, enough small talk - let's dive into this week's bag of feature-rich goodies!

FEATURES?

This list is being compiled on Reddit, and will update throughout the day! Features tagged with "maybe" are suspected, though currently unconfirmed. Feel free to hunt them down for confirmation and post here!

• Dragon fight changes

  • There is now a reason to respawn the dragon

• New stats: stat.pickup and stat.drop for all items Screenshot

• New end gateway block rendering

  • Animation

• Lingering potions

  • Animation
  • Effect will now linger on the ground for a while, leaving a cloud
  • Entities will be affected even after the potion lands, multiple entities per cloud still possible
  • Something for throwing potions without hitting yourself
  • Data tags for things like cloud duration

• Maybe: Shields

  • Screenshot
  • Can be combined with banners
  • Maybe: Used to block attacks from the side the shield is held on
  • You can still attack while blocking
  • Swords can no longer block
  • Sounds for when you blocked an attack

• Maybe: Subtitles/captioning

  • Animations: One, two
  • Captions will have left/right arrows next to them if the source is off-screen

• Maybe: <code>/clone</code> can now mirror and rotate structures

BUGFIXES

• [Bug MC-82945] – UUID error: Tried to add entity with duplicate UUID spam
• [Bug MC-83350] – Entities teleporting through a portal disappear instead of teleporting.
• [Bug MC-83731] – Using /kill on the Ender Dragon doesn't end the fight
• [Bug MC-85288] – "Save World" and "Cancel" Button have been switched
• [Bug MC-85382] – Attempting to use a spawn egg on a block thats out of range throws error
• [Bug MC-85397] – Adult mobs spawned with mob eggs are "invalid", they can't be selected with @e
• [Bug MC-85542] – Enderdragon can destroy end_portal and end_gateway blocks

To get snapshots, open your launcher and press the “New Profile” button. Call it “snapshots” and check the box saying “Enable experimental development snapshots” and save. To switch to the normal version, you can select it in the dropdown at the bottom left corner of the launcher. Back up your world first or run the game on in a different folder (See the “new profile” dialog).

Snapshots can corrupt your world, please backup and/or run them in a different folder from your main worlds.
