Minecraft news » Squareknot Tutorials for Minecraft
Tutorials - we all use them, in one way or another, in Minecraft, whether to build new project ideas, to learn how to do certain tricks in game, or just to show how something is made. One tricky thing with creating a good tutorial is making it look good, and easy to understand. Fortunately, a tool exists to make it even easier to create tutorials for other Minecrafters, called Squareknot!
Squareknot is a site used to make step-by-step tutorials with visual guides, and unsurprisingly, works very well for Minecraft tutorials! Builds, basic mechanics, and other useful things can be made by anyone, or even branched off of existing tutorials for your own personal spin on a specific idea. Consider giving it a try!
Want to show people how you made that awesome redstone creation, step-by-step? Maybe you came up with a clever way to build homes and roads en-masse, and want to share it with others. All this and more can be made into a tutorial easily with Squareknot, but that isn't the only remarkable feature. If you find a tutorial that you feel needs improving (or just want to put your personal spin or variation on), it's easy to branch off of existing tutorials with your own changes! Besides improving a tutorial, this is also handy to create "template tutorials" where people start with a foundation - say, building the base of a new house - and come up with their own version, quickly and easily. It's pretty neat!
