Redstoner flip35 has come up with a pretty remarkable creation - a working chess game inside Minecraft! It doesn't use any mods to work, but perhaps more interestingly, it does not use any command blocks either! Built entirely with blocks, levers, and conventional redstone, this is a pretty crazy creation indeed.

The game board is displayed on a 40x40 map, and renders up to 15 colors for pieces, squares, and the like. Interested in giving it a go? You can download the map right here!
