Block By Block is an initiative to engage communities in urban design, and and fund the implementation of public space projects all over the world! While a good many people have heard (and even worked with) Block By Block, using the game to redesign entire areas for the betterment of neighborhoods and regions worldwide via urban redevelopment projects. It's an incredibly ambitious program, and one that is doing pretty well!

As luck would have it, Block By Block has done a pretty serious overhaul on their site recently, and it looks amazing. Helpful infographics on successful project locations, videos that demonstrate the project in action, and the means to contact the program for information or involvement can all be found here. Give it a look, and let them know what you think of the redesign!
