Starcraft 2 news » IEM Katowice Viewer's Guide
With the 2018 season well underway, one of the biggest tournaments of the year is upon us. While we've been treated to some incredible games and moments through the Global StarCraft II League (GSL), the World Championship Series (WCS) Leipzig, and Intel Extreme Masters (IEM) PyeongChang, now we will see the first full-scale global event of the year at IEM Katowice.
IEM Katowice is always an incredible show with the largest player pool of the year and the largest prize pool outside of the Global Finals. It's also the first time we'll get to see how all global regions stack up against one another so far in 2018. Will Sasha "Scarlett" Hostyn continue her unbelievable run from PyeongChang? Will Lee "Rogue" Byung Ryul remind us why he's the World Champion? There are a myriad of possibilities. Read below for the full schedule of events, and check out the IEM Katowice event page for a full breakdown on prizing and the most up-to-date brackets during the event.
