Starcraft 2 news » TSL4 Begins
It’s finally here. The qualifiers have run, the bracket has been revealed, and now the Team Liquid Starleague 4 Round of 32 kicks off this weekend. With an all-star lineup full of international champions and up-and-comers, and broadcast by some of the best casters in the business, the TSL4 is most definitely going to be an event to keep your eyes on.
TSL3 was easily one of the most exciting events of early 2011. It brought us so many of the stories that continue to live on in our memories to this day: CrunCher’s smiley-face as he defeated IdrA. GoOdy and ThorZaIN defeating GSL champions in the first round, ThorZaIN’s rocket to fame as he defeated a second GSL champion in the quarterfinals, “Chill get out,” the end of NaNiwa’s 35-0 run in Best of X, and Day[9]’s epic solo-cast of Game 7 of the finals. If TSL4 is even a fraction as awesome as TSL3, it’s sure to be one of this summer’s highlights.
The first matches of the Round of 32 will be broadcast on both Saturday and Sunday of this weekend, at 11:00 AM PDT. For the bracket, player list, schedule, and stream, visit the official website.
Additionally, TSL is offering the “TSL4+” package. For $10 you gain access to a full 1080p stream without ads, private subscriber chat, a free TSL4 poster, 5% off of all purchases in the Team Liquid store, and entry into the TSL4 prize raffles for a chance to win shirts, Razer gear, and the grand prize – a trip to a StarCraft live event, such as MLG, IPL, or DreamHack.
