In just a few days, WCS Season 3 will come to its epic conclusion. And just prior to the grand finals, we’ll be holding a special Legacy of the Void cinematic reveal event. Here's everything you need to know about this special event and how to make sure you don’t miss any of the action.
World Championship Series Season 3 Finals
On September 12 and 13, the best StarCraft II players will compete to claim to the top spot in the world. Nick ‘Tasteless’ Plott, Dan ‘Artosis’ Stemkoski, and William ’Chobra’ Cho will be commentating on all of the action. You can watch the entire tournament online on our official WCS site. Here's the schedule:
- Saturday, September 12, 15:00 CEST: Quarterfinals
- Sunday, September 13, 15:00 CEST: Semi-finals and grand finals
If you're able to attend the tournament in person at the historic Stara Zajezdnia in Poland, the event is completely free. Seating is first-come, first-served but there will be additional outside viewing spaces. All attendees will receive access to the Legacy of the Void beta as well as a Gosu trophy in-game portrait for StarCraft II.
Cinematic and Street Date Reveal
On Sunday, September 13 at 19:00 CEST, after the conclusion of the WCS semi-finals, we’ll be revealing the introduction cinematic for Legacy of the Void as well as announcing when you’ll be able to get your hands on the thrilling conclusion of the StarCraft II trilogy. We’ll also have senior developers present to give a preview of the new gameplay and what to expect.
