With the World Championship Global Finals approaching fast, we are excited to announce another set of matches that will pit champions against each other – albeit, in a slightly different fashion.

During the Red Bull Battlegrounds Grand Finals this past September, we saw HuK and MC merge as the Archon team to prevail over Bomber and MMA in a spectacle of multitasking mayhem. Crowned as the Red Bull Battlegrounds champions, they’ve made a claim as the top Archon Mode team in the world.

However, it wasn’t long before we saw another team rise up to challenge that claim. At the European Road to BlizzCon this past October, a Legacy of the Void showmatch paired Team Liquid’s TLO and Snute against Millenium’s Lilbow and MarineLord. The Team Liquid duo prevailed over their French opponents, to become the European Road to BlizzCon Archon Mode champions making their own case as the top Archon Mode team in the world.

We’ll now see these two teams go head to head at BlizzCon! Regardless of what is known or what is prepared, we’ll also be adding a unique twist to the match’s format. Who will prevail and be crowned the 2015 Archon Mode Champions? Make sure to tune in and find out!

And if one epic showmatch isn’t enough, these champions will be sharing the stage with another group of Archon teams playing for something completely different. Keep an eye out for more details on our other Archon Mode showmatch soon!

The Archon Mode Champions showmatch is part of the Archon Mode exhibition from 18:30 to 21:30 PST on Friday, November 6 (3:30 to 6:30 CET on Saturday November 7) at BlizzCon in Anaheim, California.
