Gourdo's Trick or Treat
Trick or Treating returns soon for a limited time, now with far fewer phony Gourdos!
For two weeks, you will be able to find Gourdo rampaging across the land in most major towns, and he will decide whether you deserve a trick or a treat!
Defeating Gourdo rewards you with some awesome consumables, and may provide a Strongbox Key or even our groovy Halloween footsteps!
Sounds easy enough, right? Oh, but wait: Those phony Gourdos haven’t gone away entirely! These pumpkinheads are invulnerable, and so they can never be beaten…and never drop any rewards!
Don’t get too overconfident: You might be able to take out a true Gourdo all by yourself, but wailing on a phony Gourdo, will only frustrate you and him.
Weekly Vanguard Bonus—Increased Player XP and Item XP
Completing Vanguard Requests awards you with increased player XP and Item XP, starting Tuesday, October 15 at 3 a.m. PDT, and continuing until Tuesday, October 22 at 3 a.m. PDT.
Weekend Battleground Spotlight
Starting Friday, October 18 at 3 a.m. PDT, and continuing until Monday, October 21, you’ll earn increased Bellicarium Credits from Corsairs' Stronghold, Shore Hold, and Gridiron.
Harvest Festival Hall Changed
Be sure to spend all Halloween Candy prior to the start of Maintenance on Tuesday, October 15, as a new version of the Harvest Hall becomes available.
This new and improved version of the Harvest Festival Hall will remain available until Thursday, November 5.
To get to Harvest Festival Hall, travel to Eldritch Academy from Pora Elinu or speak to Ellonia [Halloween Guide], found next to the pumpkin decorations in any town.
Once inside Eldritch Academy, speak to Titiana to enter the Hall, then speak to the witch Serena to begin, and use the Halloween Cannons to repel waves of monsters intent on stealing every last bit of candy they can get their grubby paws on.
Serena rewards you with Halloween Candy for your efforts, and you can trade your Halloween Candy in at Ellonia [Halloween Guide] by select “Accessories” to see what's offered in the Halloween Candy shop and exchange your candies for some fantastic special items!
Enchanting Success Event Ending
The enchanting success event is almost over! After Tuesday, October 15 at 10 a.m. PDT, you’ll no longer receive the bonus to the enchanting and upgrading success rates. Until then, though, Guardian gear has a 100% base enchantment success rate, and the following gear tiers (including weapons, chest, gloves, and boots) have increased success chances during the event:
- Twistshard—Twice the Base Chance of Success
- Frostmetal—Four times the Base Chance of Success
- Stormcry—Four times the Base Chance of Success
Federation Gem Crates and Lustrous Federation Crates Leaving the Store
Federation Gem Crates and Lustrous Federation Crates leave the TERA Store at 10 a.m. PDT on Tuesday, October 15!
All Class Leveling Event Ending
The all-class leveling event lasts until Tuesday, October 15 at 10 a.m. PDT.

Starlyn Dungeon Event Ending
The Staryln dungeon event—in which you can earn expanded rewards through the Starlyn event window—ends Tuesday, October 15 at 10 a.m. PDT. Check out our forum post for more details.
Guardian Legion Bonus: Skill Advancement and Skill Optimization Rewards Ending
Lasting until Tuesday, October 15 at 10 a.m. PDT, whenever you complete Guardian Legion missions, you will receive additional rewards of Skill Advancement and Skill Optimization Scrolls.
