TERA’s first Masquerade Mayhem event means lots of opportunities for tricks and treats—including a costume contest that might win you fabulous prizes!

From noon PDT on October 23 to 11:59 p.m. PDT on November 5, you’ll see TERA’s towns decorated in Halloween finery. If you find Gourdo, the mad jack-o’-lantern, you can throw pumpkin pies at him to earn loot. The Eldritch Academy, where they honor Halloween year-round, has a special “protect the candy” instance (with cannons!) awaiting you.

At 6 p.m. PDT on October 30, we’ll have a grand costume contest in Pora Elinu. We’ll handle preliminary rounds ahead of time (via email), and then the best of the best will strut their stuff for everyone to see. More details—including the prizes for the winners—after our next séance with the Halloween spirits.

You don’t have to take part in the costume contest to dress up for Halloween in TERA, though. The En Masse store has a wide array of masks and headgear to make sure you’re ready for tricks and treats this Halloween!
