TERA news » How to Dress Up for TERA's Masquerade Ball
Making an impact at TERA’s Masquerade Ball takes equal doses of creativity and in-game knowledge. We’ve compiled the following tips to help you show off at the ball, scheduled for 6–7 p.m. PDT on October 30 at the big tree in Pora Elinu.
Dyeing to win. The right color makes all the difference, whether you’re aiming to be elegant, funny, or just plain weird. Our Remodeling and Dyeing game guide talks you through the steps to make your outfit stand out from the crowd.
Know your gear. The Kestrel’s Guide to TERA Templates fan site shows you what each armor set looks like—and where to get it. Just pick the templates for your crafting category (tailoring/armorsmith/leatherworking) and armor type (heavy/medium/light), then look in the section for your race and gender. Not every template is complete (yet), but it’s a terrific resource for costume design.
Find that perfect costume. The En Masse Store has all sorts of masks, hats, and skins to spur your creativity and take your costume idea to the next level. Even if you aren’t competing in the costume contest, there are plenty of masks perfect for spectators at the Pora Elinu masquerade.
Check Out Samples. Our Creative Services team produced the following costume ideas, just to give you a sense of what’s possible. Consider them a launching point for your own flights of fancy! What will you come up with?
