World of Tanks is honored to have worked closely with veterans’ organizations, charities, and museums over the past decade; now we would like to offer something special to military members directly.

Introducing the World of Tanks Salute program!

We’re working with ID.me to allow eligible military personnel to tag their account with a “military” status, which basically includes anyone who has honorably served, or is serving, in the U.S. Armed Forces.

The Salute program is more than simply a military discount program, though that’s certainly part of it: Accounts with the military tag get a free tank, free special style, discounted offers in the World of Tanks Premium Shop, exclusive bundles, special missions, in-game events, and more. But that’s just the start: we have additional benefits in the works. World of Tanks Salute only applies to U.S. military members, but we hope to potentially expand the program in the future.

How to Verify

To verify as a military or military family member, please do the following:

1. Login into World of Tanks
2. Proceed to the Account Management page
3. Click the “ID.me” button and complete the verification process through ID.me

Your family and friends can verify their military status while creating an account.

Just click the ID.me button and verify military status before filling in the account-creation fields.
