WCG USA has officially launched two free online qualifying events for World of Tanks players. This event is open to US Citizens only and proof of citizenship will be required.

The qualifiers are set to take place throughout the months of August and September for qualification directly into the US National Finals. These online tournaments will qualify winning players to participate in the US National Finals event, set to take place in early October (tentative date).

The winners of the US National Finals will go on to represent Team USA at the 2012 WCG Grand Finals, hosted on Nov. 29 - Dec. 2 this year in Kunshan City, China.

The top team from each of the qualifiers will receive an auto-berth and travel stipend to the US National Finals event.  The next three teams from each qualifier will receive an invite to the US National Finals, bringing the total from both qualifiers to 8 teams.

Registration for the World of Tanks qualification events has officially opened, and is completely free.
