Starting September 6th 16.00 UTC  the public test server for the 8.0 update begins!

The previous test server primarily featured new physics, and we appreciate all of the feedback we got from that test; however, this time around we must point out that we're looking for feedback on the update as a whole, and not just the physics.

This means that we'd prefer if players engaged with battles as normal (no truces for taking your tanks off sweet jumps!), as we're looking for feedback on absolutely every facet.  The more feedback we get, the sooner we can release a quality build of the 8.0 update!

Important: currently the after battle statisctic is switched off.  It will become available very soon.

To participate in the test you need to do the following steps:

1.  Copy the game client to the separate folder

2.  Install a small launcher update found here

Attention! Please, install the test game launcher in a different folder, other than the current game client version! Also switch off the game client before installing the update. Only players who have registered prior to 0:00 UTC 02.09.2012

3. Update the game via launcher. 3.2 Gb approximately

Please, keep mind certain special features  of the public test server:

• Payments are not accepted on the public test server.
• All test accounts will receive a onte time crediting of:
  
  • 100,000,000 Free XP
  • 100,000,000 Credits
  • 20,000 gold
• Progress won't be transferred to the main NA server.
• Credit and experience rates will not be increased for this test.

Scheduled server restarts::
      а) W.o.T. Common Test 1 Cluster - 01:00 UTC (06:00 PDT) each UNEVEN date of the month. Average duration: ~25 mins
      b) W.o.T. Common Test 2 Cluster  - 01:00 UTC (06:00 PDT) each EVEN date of the month. Average duration: ~25 mins
      c) Whole Server - 00:30  UTC (05:30 PDT) - daily. Average duration: ~2-3 min

Important:

We draw your attention to the fact that the test server is subject to EULA and general rules of World of Tanks game server. The restrictions and punishments are the same as on the official game server of World of Tanks. The details of the v.8.0 update public test can be discussed in a special forum section. Bugs related to the 8.0 public test should be posted in this special sub-forum.
