World of Warcraft news » World of Warcraft Arena World Championship – Day 1 Recap
Today, six teams battled for glory in the World of Warcraft Arena at BlizzCon 2015. Now, only two remain.
In the semifinals, Skill-Capped EU matched up against Tempo Storm. Despite Tempo Storm's unorthodox composition of Holy Paladin, Subtlety Rogue, and Arcane Mage, Skill-Capped EU made the switch to Holy Paladin, Shadow Priest, and Frost Mage, which gave them a 3 to 1 victory and secured their spot in the Grand Finals.
Our second semifinal match saw SK Gaming's Enhancement Shaman, Arms Warrior, and Restoration Druid composition go up against Cloud 9's Combat Rogue, Frost Mage, and Restoration Druid. After one of the most incredible series we've seen in World of Warcraft Arena history, SK Gaming stood 3 to 1 as the victors.
Tomorrow, beginning at 3 p.m. Pacific time, we’ll find out which of these two teams will be crowned the World of Warcraft 2015 Arena World Champions and awarded the $120,000 first-place prize. If today’s games were any indicator, you won’t want to miss it. Tune in live via the official BlizzCon live stream!
