World of Warcraft news » Toy Box Tuesday: Children’s Crusade
We’re taking a step back in time with Burning Crusade Timewalking while investing in the future of Azeroth for Children’s Week in this week’s Toy Box Tuesday—a weekly piece in which we feature a few toys that you may want to add to your collection.*
Burning for You
The Burning Crusade Timewalking event begins May 4 and runs through May 9. There’s one Burning Crusade toy currently available for purchase using Timewarped Badges when you visit vendor Cupri in Shattrath in Outland—the Mark of the Ashtongue. With this toy, you’ll be able to don the guise of an Ashtongue Broken.
“Disguise yourself as an Ashtongue Broken.”
While it’s currently unavailable for addition to your Toy Box, you may still want to also purchase the Ever-Shifting Mirror, which is slated to become a toy with the release of Legion.
"Some mirrors show what might have been..."
Crawling in Your Skin
Within the same Burning Crusade theme, we thought it might be a good opportunity to do a little digging to get the Bones of Transformation with some Night Elf Archeology. By using this epic toy, you’ll be transformed into a vision of naga power and beauty.
"These bones show a curious mixture of humanoid arms and serpentine tail, convincing you that they are probably from a naga. What is more interesting is that the skeleton has been articulated and posed as if it was once displayed in a museum."
We hope you don’t mind a few scales and a slightly fishy smell.
My Wonderful Balloon
As it’s Children’s Week, we’d be remiss if we didn’t point out two additional toys that can only be bought and learned during the holiday event—the Green Balloon and Yellow Balloon. These can be purchased from vendors Blax Bottlerocket in Orgrimmar or Craggle Wobbletop in Stormwind City. Once added to your collection, you’ll be able to use these balloons throughout the year.
“Summon a green/yellow balloon.”
Kids love balloons, so you should definitely buy these and make your new orphan friend happy! Don’t forget to add these toys to your collection before the holiday ends or you’ll have to wait until next year.
If you’ve just started your toy collection as of our first Toy Box Tuesday, then once you add these toys to your collection, you’ll be 12/50 toward the first Toy Box Collection achievement, Having a Ball.
*What’s the Toy Box?
Players will find the Toy Box within the Collections interface, which can be accessed via your lower nav bar or by the keyboard command Shift-P.
