World of Warcraft news » Toy Hunt: Reach for the Stars
We’re looking to the heavens and getting a bit sparkly in this week’s Toy Hunt —a weekly piece in which we feature a few toys that you may want to add to your collection.*
We are Star Stuff
Our first toy is located at the top of the Teluuna Observatory in Shadowmoon Valley. There, you’ll find a series of holographic discs that— when examined— will provide you with a bit more insight into the Draenei and their exodus from their home world of Argus. Next to one of these discs is a treasure chest that contains a Star Chart projector. Using this toy will create your own holographic projector for a short time.
For Alliance, it’s easy enough to walk right up to the top of the observatory to get it.
For Horde, you’ll be in enemy territory. The closest flight point to the observatory is at Exile’s Rise. If you have flight, it’s easy enough to slip in and check things out. You’ll even be able to examine the various holographs and hear the tales the Draenei working at the observatory have to tell.
Baying at the Blood Moon
They say the Blood Moon can be transformational. In Tanaan Jungle this can become a reality for you when you take part in The Blood Moon mini event within Zeth’gol. You’ll need to use Drained Blood Crystals found within the area to draw health from the Blood Moon. When enough health has been drained, the rare elite Remnant of the Blood Moon will spawn and could potentially drop a Vial of Red Goo. Using this toy will transform you into viscous and — dare we say— very attractive blob of red ooze.
“Drink the remains of the Blood Moon.”
You’re Positively Pearlescent
Perhaps not directly relating to all things heavenly, but after turning into a blob of red ooze, you might want to just feel and look pretty again. With the Pretty Draenor Pearl you can look quite sparkly — you’ll twinkle like the stars at least.
You can find this toy in a Giant Draenor Clam treasure within Frostfire Ridge.
*What’s the Toy Box?
Players will find the Toy Box within the Collections interface, which can be accessed via your lower nav bar or by the keyboard command Shift-P. To add a toy to your collection, simply right-click it in your inventory. Once added to the collection, you’ll be able to access it at any time within the Toy Box interface.
