After two days of intense games the Battle.net World Championship has come to a conclusion. We have compiled a list of games below, in case you missed the action.
As the StarCraft II Global Final raged on at the Battle.net World Championship in Shanghai, China, we took a few moments to watch some of the exciting videos created on site in Shanghai. Here are three of our favorites.
The second and final day of StarCraft II competition at the Battle.net World Championship got underway with 16 of the best players in the world — each of whom had won two matches against great competitors in group play on Day 1 — facing single elimination in a straight bracket filled with the names of five players from South Korea, five players from Europe, five players from the Americas, and the amazing Yang “Sen” Chia Cheng from Taiwan.

As we count down the days until the Battle.net World Championship kicks off in Shanghai, China, the time has come to seed the brackets with all 32 players who will compete in the StarCraft II World Championship Series Global Finals. To assist in that task, Sean ‘Day[9]’ Plott, Ben ‘MrBitter’ Nichol, and Kevin ‘Rotterdam’ van der Kooi joined Blizzard’s own Rob Simpson and Jacqueline Geller as they explained the format of the tournament and randomly added the competitors to their groups.

Now featured in the StarCraft II Arcade: Kobold Tribes, a team-based survival RPG in which two teams of up to five players each command a Kobold unit and work together to defeat the enemy tribe. At the start of each game, the Kobold players find themselves in a forested landscape that must be overcome before the enemy team can be dealt with. Kobolds can cut down trees, hunt wild animals, gather berries, and engage in quests, pooling their resources to build structures, cook food, and arm themselves for the inevitable battle. As time passes, day leads to night, at which point the tribe must stick together near a campfire or freeze.
