Starcraft 2 news » The Tournament of Champions is in Full Swing

This week, Major League Gaming debuted its latest StarCraft II competition: the Tournament of Champions. This series will run from Monday, December 3 through Thursday, December 20, showcasing eight of the top performing players from MLG's 2012 Pro Circuit and other events such as the Battle.net World Championship.

Eight of the world's top StarCraft II pro-gamers, including Flash, DongRaeGu, soO, MarineKing, Leenock, Rain, Life, and PartinG will compete in this ruthless single elimination tournament. Shoutcasters Alex 'Axeltoss' Rodriguez and Nick 'Axslav' Ranish will commentate every match, which will be played in best of five format, moving to a best of seven for the finals. You can visit the Tournament of Champions announcement page to learn more about the players, and watch VODs which highlight their performances during this year's MLG events.

Matches will be played every Monday and Thursday through December 20, with the exception of this week, which will have a third broadcast on Friday, December 7. You can catch the free, high definition broadcast each day at 3:00 p.m. PST on MLG's official stream. For a more detailed schedule, check out the MLG Calendar.
