From January 19 to 22 the CyberSport Arena in Kiev, Ukraine will host the fifth event of ESL’s Intel Extreme Master Series Season VI. Sixteen top StarCraft II players from Europe, Asia and America as well as the National Ukrainian Champion fought their way through the group stages during 2011 – now it’s time to find out which of them will earn an invitation to the Season VI World Championship.

The qualified players, including Dmytro “DIMAGA” Filipchuk, Manuel “Grubby” Schenkhuizen, and Dennis “HasuObs” Schneider, will fight for honor and an impressive prize pool of $21,000 USD. The two finalists will advance to Season VI’s World Championship, which will again take place at CeBIT in Hanover, Germany in March 2012. An overview of the groups can be found below:
