BlizzCon has always been the place to be to learn more about your favorite Blizzard games. This year’s convention is no exception, featuring three StarCraft II panels for you to enjoy.


Friday, November 6

The Future of StarCraft II

Get a glimpse into the future of StarCraft II and learn all about our plans to support the game and its community going forward. The panel is scheduled to include Lead Game Producer Tim Morten, Lead Game Designer Jason Huck, Lead Multiplayer Designer David Kim, Lead Campaign Designer Matt Morris, and Writer Valerie Watrous.

  • On the BlizzCon Panel Stage – Hall A

StarCraft II: Competitive Multiplayer

Gain insight into the team’s design goals, community collaboration, and thoughts on a ladder redesign. This panel is scheduled to include Lead Multiplayer Designer David Kim, Senior Game Designer Alex Sun, Senior Technical Designer Aron Kirkpatrick, and Game Designer Aaron Larson.

Saturday, November 7

StarCraft II: Sounds from the Void

StarCraft II: Sounds from the Void will showcase the sounds and music of the Legacy of the Void expansion. This panel is scheduled to include Sound Supervisor Evan T. Chen and Senior Sound Designers Ed Cerrato and Lawrence Peacock, with musical performances by Lead Composer Jason Hayes and a trio of featured soloists.

  • 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. PST (19:00 - 20:00 CET)
  • On the BlizzCon Panel Stage – Hall A

WCS 2015 Global Finals

Get ready for the epic conclusion of the largest StarCraft II eSports event of the year. Sit back, relax, and enjoy as eight of the world’s best StarCraft II players battle it out for the title of “Global Champion.” Sean ‘Day[9]’ Plott and Dan ‘Artosis’ Stemkoski will be casting among other top commentators and talent.

Just like last year, the WCS Global Finals will be held at the StarCraft II tournament stage in the Arena. If you plan on watching it online, wcs.battle.net will be live streaming the event free of charge.

StarCraft II Community Corner

Meet up with the StarCraft Community Managers at the Darkmoon Faire in Hall A! You will also be able to enjoy the BlizzCam 360 photo booth, trade pins at the Blizzard Pin Trading booth, turn yourself into a gif at the Gif Photo Booth, and get some sweet StarCraft temporary tattoos.

Legacy of the Void Celebration

Finally, you don’t want to miss our epic Legacy of the Void Launch Celebration taking place in the Arena, where the WCS Global Finals are being held, from 20:00 – 22:15 CET.
