TERA’s latest content update, Secrets & Shadows, is right around the corner, and we know you’ve got questions. So here’s a quick primer on all the major developments coming your way.

Free Additional Character Slot

All players who log into TERA between now and Tuesday, May 31 at 11:59 p.m. PDT will find a free, non-tradable additional character slot in Item Claim. Only one additional slot is available per account, and the maximum number of characters per server still remains at 16. So if you plan to play a ninja on your favorite server, you might need to make some room.

Ninja Server-First Achievements and Titles

All ninjas who reach level 30, 58, 60, and 65 within 24 hours (by 10 a.m. PDT on Wednesday, May 18) will earn “server first” titles as follows:

• 30 – Quick Ninja
• 58 – Genin
• 60 – Chuunin
• 65 – Jounin

These titles will be applied by 5 p.m. PDT on Friday, May 20.

Leveling Event

Every ninja that reaches level 65 by June 6 in conjunction with our current leveling event will receive the following items (also pictured above):

• Kunoichi Robe (costume)
• Butterfly Shuriken (weapon skin)

Hard Modes for Demokron Factory and Shadow Sanguinary

Hard modes for these Secrets & Shadows end-game dungeons will arrive one week after launch, following maintenance on Tuesday, May 24.

Crusades

At release, the eligible dungeons for the current Crusade season will immediately change to:

• Kalivan's Dreadnaught (Hard)
• Abscess (Hard)

When the next season begins Tuesday, May 24 following maintenance, the Crusades will feature

• Demokron Factory (Hard)
• Shadow Sanguinary (Hard)

And you’re all set! Secrets & Shadows releases Tuesday, May 17 following maintenance.
