We know it's a thankless job, but somebody has to do it. So this week we're saying "thanks" to all of you who hang back at our base, keeping it safe and sound. For your dedication we'll be rewarding 1,250 additional XP for anyone who earns the Defender medal from 03:30 PST on February 11, 2013 until 03:00 PST on February 15, 2013.

What's the criteria for earning the Defender medal and netting yourself some extra XP? Glad you asked! Here's the details:

Defender 

Reduce the number of enemy capture points of a friendly base by 70 or more.  If two or more players have reduced an equal amount of capture points, the achievement is granted to the player who has earned more XP in the battle (including additional XP provided to Premium Account users).
