If you've wondered whether the ladies and gentlemen of the North American Wargaming office actually played World of Tanks, the answer is a resounding YES! Lucky us, we are having a very special in-house tournament on May 17th. No prizes, limited renown, but all the bragging rights are at stake.

This event will be shoutcasted by none other than the esteemable Barroom and some guy in our office. We don't really know what he does around here, and to top it all off, he doesn't really know how to play tanks -- don't miss the train wrec... show!

Livestreaming Begins: 15:00 PDT (18:00 EDT) on May 17th

Be sure you register an account with Twitch.tv, click the follow button for World of Tanks on our stream, and join us                   in the chat to be eligible to win gold codes.

WGA In-House Palooza

Team & Tier Limit Rules

With a maximum of five players per battle, a team (maximum of six players including alternates) must field a selection of tanks based on tier limits listed below:

  • Heavy: up to tier VIII
  • Medium: up to tier VIII
  • Tank Destroyer: up to tier VIII
  • Light: up to tier VIII
  • SPG: up to tier VIII
  • 35 points maximum

Victory Conditions

Each team will play every other team (there is no escape!). Wins will count for three points, draws for one, and losses earn zero points.  The first to two victories wins the round, if after five battles, there is no winner, the round will be considered a draw.

Note that there will only be 30 minutes between the beginning of each round; for those keeping track, that means we'll only have 30 minutes to get three wins, not the entire length of five battles!!

Each battle will last 10 minutes.

The Encounter battle mode will be used for this tournament.
