Tankers!

Here's your chance to reenact a bit of history, and maybe even rewrite it. Either way, it's your opportunity to slug it out with a few other tankers for some serious in-game Gold!

Operation Husky Challenge:

Team & Tier Limit Rules

  • Maximum of five players per team per battle with three alternates, for a total of eight players registered
  • Heavy tanks: not allowed
  • Medium tanks: up to tier VIII
  • Light tanks: not allowed
  • TD: not allowed
  • SPG: not allowed
  • Limit one T69 per team
  • 40 points maximum

Victory Conditions

The Standard battle mode will be used for this tournament.

Group Stage

  • Battles begin every 15 minutes.
  • Three points are granted for a win, one point for a tie, zero points for a loss.
  • Each battle will last 10 minutes max.
  • The top six teams in each group advance to the playoff round.
  • Teams are seeded into the playoffs according to the total number of points earned in group stage.

Tie-Breakers

  • The winner of each round will be determined as the first to one victory.
  • Each battle will last 10 minutes max.

Playoffs

  • The winner of each round will be determined as the first to three victories.
  • Each battle will last 10 minutes max.

Schedule

The complete schedule will be provided at the close of registration, after the final team count has been determined. Rounds and are to be scheduled every other day with dates in between reserved for make-ups and tie-breakers. Rounds will begin at  18:00 PDT (21:00 EDT, 01:00 UTC the following day). Curious what time this is in your region? Use this handy Time Zone Converter to help you out!
  • Group Stage: July 15th
  • Group Stage, Tie-Breaker: July 16th
  • Playoff Round 1: July 17th
  • Playoff Round 2: July 19th
  • Playoff Round 3: July 22st
  • Remainder of schedule TBA post registration

Prizes

The following prizes will be provided to each member of the respective team, including reserves. 

  • First place: 12,000
  • Second place: 9,000
  • Third place: 6,000
  • Fourth place: 4,000
  • Fifth - Eight Place:  1,600
  • Ninth - Sixteenth Place:  300

If the first place team is able to win the Challenge without losing a single battle, each member will receive an additional 2,000.

There will only be one map used during the Operation Husky Challenge:  Abbey
